We train the staff of health-care facilities (such as nursing homes and hospitals) and schools to run their own COMPs. Staff training is a highly cost-effective way of bringing the benefits of COMPs into care communities and educational programs on a long-term, or permanent basis.

How Does Staff Training Work?

We visit your site and work with your staff over a variable period of time (in certain instances, we may suggest your staff work with us at our premises in Lagrangeville, NY for at least part of the program). Our Staff Training Programs consist of training sessions, where staff will build a suitable repertoire for outreaches and learn how to deliver it in a way that maximizes the therapeutic impact; and supervised outreaches in suitable health-care facilities.

There are many variables in planning a Staff Training Program. These include the number of staff participating, their level of experience, the physical location of the institution, desired goals of the training, and finances. Because of these factors, the length, structure, and cost of each program is determined on a case-by-case basis.
