IMH Director Peter Muir Given Grant to Work with Rockland County Students
Dr. Peter Muir, Director of IMH, gave workshops and a Jazz Outreach concert for Rockland BOCES this past spring. The workshops and concert involved students with special needs and their mainstream ‘buddies’ making music together.
This exciting project involving students from Montebello Elementary School, Lakewood Elementary School and South Orange Town Middle School was made possible by a grant from Rockland Arts Council and matching funds from Rockland BOCES. We thank Rockland Arts Council, BOCES and South Orange Town School District for their generous support.
